1. General Information

Dura Grip E2 anti-slip floor paint can also be used on decking and stairs. The anti-slip paint is a two-part epoxy paint specially designed to create an extremely durable and non-slip finish on multiple surface types. The anti-slip floor paint epoxy coating is easy to maintain and can be used on indoors or outdoor areas.

Dura Grip E2 non-slip epoxy paint for flooring, stairs and ramps is easy to apply like any standard roll-on paint and once dried has a textured finish. Not only does the anti-slip epoxy floor paint increase the traction of a surface, but at the same time, it is durable and chemical resistant which makes it perfect for around swimming pools or in factories and warehouses.  Dura Grip E2 floor epoxy paint is perfect for use on diamond-plate metal ramps, boat decks, trailers, stairs, locker rooms, laundry rooms, wooden decking and other residential and industrial areas where non-slip protection is desired.

When developing the formula for our anti-slip paint the focus was always around quality. We tested multiple variations of elements, including the range of slip resistance and durability with each type of non-slip paint. In the end, we have developed a non-slip 2K epoxy paint that not only fixed slippery surfaces but also stood the test of time even under some of the harshest weather and working conditions. What we wanted to ensure is that even if the product came at a premium production cost, you could rest assured that the anti-slip epoxy floor paint would achieve the right slip resistance results and not peel, crack or chip.

Dura Grip E2 anti-slip epoxy paint finish is completely barefoot and paw-friendly and leaves textured finish giving increased grip for feet or even your beloved pet’s paws. Dura Grip E2 non-slip floor paint will take 24 hours to cure and dry and once completed will be water and stain resistant.  Each Dura Grip E2 non-slip epoxy floor paint is protected by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.

2. Application

Important Once mixed the paint will only be usable for 12 hours. If working with sections please only mix what you need. Never skip the test phase of the product. It is important to ensure that the final finish and look is what you want before applying to the entire area. Fully applied applications without proof of testing will not be refunded. All coverage mentioned is an estimated average. SlipDoctors will not be held responsible for varying porosity and absorption levels caused by each different type of surface. If you are unsure, please either prime the surface first or feel free to contact us for assistance. Only apply Dura Grip E2 if the surface has been dry for 24 to 48 hrs to ensure moisture has not collected below the surface or soaked in areas like grout lines. Once the anti-slip paint is dry do not drop or drag heavy objects or furniture on the surface to avoid damage. Know what you are applying: Dura Grip E2 non-slip paint is an epoxy paint and a hazmat product, please read all safety information (SDS) before purchasing and applying.

Test Phase: Dura Grip should be tested on a small inconspicuous area before full application. MIXING: Mix a small amount (5% of each part) of part A and part B in a separate bowl or tray and then stir thoroughly before using. Stir occasionally during use.

Application: If working with sections please only mix what you need. If doing a full application mix Part A and Part B then shake and/or stir well (use within 12hrs). Stir occasionally during use. Apply with a high quality paint roller in 2 coats. Using a roller, apply Dura Grip E2 in light uniform coats applying with even pressure. For best performance, avoid thick coats. Second coat should be applied at a right angle to the first coat within 2 to 4 hours.

Clean Up: While Dura Grip E2 is still wet, equipment may be cleaned with soap and water. Once dried, equipment may be cleaned with a solvent such as xylene or toluene.
