SlipDoctors Premier Seal is a professional acrylic anti-slip sealer developed to both protect and improve traction on exterior and high-use surfaces. It forms a durable protective barrier that helps resist water ingress, staining, chemical exposure, UV damage and general wear while improving stability underfoot.

Suitable for properly prepared concrete, paving slabs, natural stone, masonry, previously sealed or glazed tile, composite decking, timber, vinyl flooring and previously painted areas, Premier Seal is particularly well suited for patios, driveways, garage floors, garden paths and garages where both durability and safety are important.

When used as an anti-slip sealer for concrete, paving or decking, Premier Seal enhances grip while preserving the appearance of the surface. Available in Matte or Gloss finishes, it allows you to achieve either a subtle natural look or a slightly richer finish while maintaining long-term protection.

For unsealed ceramic or porcelain tiles where the primary aim is simply to improve slip resistance without applying a coating, SlipDoctors Stone Grip is typically the more appropriate solution. Stone Grip chemically treats the tile surface to increase traction without sealing it, whereas Premier Seal is intended for situations where sealing and surface protection are also required.

  • For outdoor use, review the forecast and only apply when conditions are stable. Make sure no rain or heavy dew is expected while the coating is curing. Avoid late-day applications when temperatures drop, and allow extra drying time in cool or humid weather. Do not apply if conditions are at or close to the dew point.
  • The surface must be completely dry and properly cleaned. Remove grease, wax, dirt, loose paint, and any other residues that could prevent adhesion. If there is failing paint, strip it back to a sound base before coating.
  • Mixing: Do not dilute. Stir thoroughly from the bottom of the container using a drill mixer or strong hand mix before starting, and remix each time you pour into a tray to keep the additive evenly dispersed.
  • Test Patch: Always test on a small, hidden area first. Let it cure fully, then check appearance and performance before proceeding with the full application.
  • Application: Apply with a quality roller to create an even coat and avoid build-up in low spots. If pooling occurs, roll it out immediately. For best results, apply two light coats rather than one heavy coat. Allow 6–8 hours between coats and roll the second coat at 90 degrees to the first. After the final coat, allow around 24 hours before normal foot traffic.
