Looking for the most aggressive non-skid epoxy floor paint on the UK market? Ultra Grip Non-Skid Paint delivers unmatched traction and durability in high-risk environments. Designed for cold weather applications (as low as 4°C), this industrial-grade anti-slip coating is formulated to provide extreme surface texture that significantly reduces the risk of slips and falls even in wet, oily, or high-traffic areas.

Ideal for use on concrete, wood, metal, fibreglass, aluminium and more, Ultra Grip anti-slip epoxy paint is the go-to solution for warehouses, loading ramps, factories, ship decks, machinery zones, and any other area where safety is critical. Its ultra-tough finish resists chemicals, heavy wear, and harsh industrial conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Whether you're upgrading health and safety compliance or safeguarding personnel in demanding environments, Ultra Grip’s extreme traction epoxy and cold-weather formulation set it apart from conventional anti-slip coatings.

NOTES
  • Please carefully read the product label and Technical Data Sheet (TDS) before starting your application to ensure safety, correct surface preparation, and full application guidance.
  • Instructional videos are available to help demonstrate the basic application steps.
  • Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety recommendations.
  • Colour shades may vary slightly between batches. To ensure a uniform finish, it is recommended to blend contents from different batch numbers before use.
SURFACE PREPARATION
  • Preparation requirements differ depending on the surface type. Refer to the TDS for full surface-specific preparation details.
  • Application temperature range: 4-27°C.
  • Ensure the substrate has been properly prepared before applying. Failure to do so may result in poor adhesion or coating failure.
  • All sealants, oil, grease, chemical residues, and other contaminants must be thoroughly removed.
  • Surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, and completely dry before application.
APPLICATION
  • Do not coat expansion joints. Avoid application if the surface temperature is within 5°C of the dew point.
  • Always test a small patch in an inconspicuous area before full application.
  • Mix ratio is 4:1 by volume - combine four parts Base (Part A) with one part Hardener (Part B). Use a 400-600 RPM explosion-proof drill fitted with a Jiffy mixer.
  • Agitate both Part A and Part B separately before combining. Use the mixture immediately-no induction time is required. Thinning is not advised.
  • POT LIFE @ 24°C is approximately 60 minutes.
  • Applying with a phenolic roller will create a consistent ridged texture. A smoother finish can be achieved using a trowel or squeegee.
  • After mixing, pour a ribbon of material approximately 60-90 cm long and 15 cm wide onto the surface to begin application.
  • Phenolic Roller: Pull the material towards yourself with moderate pressure. Avoid over-rolling as this may reduce slip resistance. Roll in a single direction only and smooth out any build-up along the roller edges. Coverage: approx. 2.8-3.7 m² per gallon.
  • Trowel/Squeegee: Dispense a ribbon approximately 60-90 cm wide. Hold the trowel or squeegee at a 45° angle and draw the product toward you, maintaining an even layer. Coverage: approx. 3.7-4.6 m² per gallon.
  • CLEAN UP: Clean spills, tools, and equipment promptly using white spirit or a suitable paint thinner.
